The Covid-19 pandemic has revealed weaknesses on how companies have been prepared for non-predictable and unprecedented events. It is vital for any organization to be aware of who they are doing business with, so that they can avoid operative and reputational problems, and be prepared to continue business under all circumstances.

Join this session to discuss the latest best practices on supply chain risk management and how it can be turned into long term competitive advantage.

Rikke Bjerre Eberhard, Head of Supply Chain E&S, Alfa Laval will moderate the discussion between maximum 20 Supply Chain and Procurement Directors from the largest companies in the Nordics. We limit the number of participants to provide the best possible virtual conditions for knowledge sharing through top keynote presentations, networking in breakout groups and Q&As in a virtual setting.

Opening remarks from the facilitator to set the scene for the morning: context, how it will all work and some house rules.

09.15 – 09.40: Rikke Bjerre Eberhard, Head of Supply Chain E&S, Alfa Laval & Sami Peltonen, Vice President, Product Management at Basware.

Rikke Bjerre Eberhard will introduce the challenges – managing supply chain risk during Covid-19 and present her views.

Sami Peltonen will share his thoughts and experiences and initiate the group discussion with some stimulus questions to start the knowledge sharing with your virtual neighbors

09.40 – 10.20: Group discussion – 3 or 4 virtual breakout groups:

Participants will be divided into virtual breakout groups. Each breakout group brings together peers to create an open environment for honest discussions and sharing real world experiences. There will be a group chair for each group managing the discussion based on the following questions:

• How have you and your company managed Supply Chain Risk during the pandemic, and have you changed something from a strategic perspective?
• Why is full visibility into your supply chain important and how much visibility do you have at the current time?
